Eurovision Song Contest 2025 to be Held in Switzerland
69th edition expected to take place in May 2025
The Eurovision Song Contest 2025 is expected to be the 69th edition of the Eurovision Song Contest, organised by the European Broadcasting Union (EBU). The contest is scheduled to take place in May 2025 in Switzerland. This will be the second time Switzerland will host the contest, after previously doing so in 1956 when it was organized by Lugano.
The venue for the contest has not yet been announced, however, it is expected to be announced later this year.
The Eurovision Song Contest is an annual international song competition where participants representing their own countries compete for the title of the best song in Europe. The contest is broadcast live across Europe and beyond, and it is one of the most popular television events in the world. Germany has never won the Eurovision Song Contest, despite participating in the competition every year since its inception in 1956.
