The Dallas Mavericks have advanced to the Western Conference Finals for the second time in three seasons after a thrilling 117-116 victory over the Oklahoma City Thunder on Tuesday night. The Mavs trailed by 17 points at one point but rallied back to take the lead late in the fourth quarter. Washington's free throws in the final seconds sealed the win for Dallas.
Luka Dončić led the Mavs with 31 points, 12 rebounds, and 9 assists. Kristaps Porzingis added 27 points and 14 rebounds, and Spencer Dinwiddie chipped in with 20 points. Shai Gilgeous-Alexander paced the Thunder with 34 points, while Josh Giddey had 25 points and 10 rebounds.
The Mavs will now face the Phoenix Suns in the Western Conference Finals, which begin on Thursday night.
