Phoenix Mercury star Diana Taurasi and her wife, Penny Taylor, have welcomed their second child together. The couple announced the birth of their daughter, Leo, on social media on Tuesday. "We are so happy to introduce you to our little girl, Leo," Taurasi wrote on Instagram. "She was born on August 1, 2023, at 9:35pm, and she is perfect in every way." Taylor also shared the news on her Instagram account, writing, "We are so excited to welcome Leo into our family. She is a beautiful and healthy baby girl, and we are so grateful to have her." Taurasi and Taylor have been married since 2017. They met as teammates on the Phoenix Mercury in 2004. The couple welcomed their first child, a son named Leo, in 2018.
